Jennifer Waterstar Hensiek -  is a Shamanic energy worker, ceremonialist, artist and writer. Her deep devotion and love for the Earth led her to become an ordained Minister of Her Walking Prayer through the Center for Sacred Studies. Jennifer's passion for supporting women's spiritual growth blossomed into a local community of women who gather regularly in community and prayer. Jennifer, her three children, and partner of 23 years lives on the Sacramento River near downtown Sacramento. Among her many teachers and elders, Jennifer regards the river as her greatest teacher.

For my SoulTalk I will be touching on our lost connection to the Earth. I believe that at the root of many of our wounds and feelings of separation lies a deep longing for belonging and connection. Our modern world has created an environment that is completely misaligned with what our nervous systems are craving. We know something if off but for generations we have been mimicking the behaviors of those who came before us. My vision for 2018 is that we come back to our primordial nature and find connection to the Earth and to each other through our humanness. When we strip away class, gender, race, age etc, we all drink from the same well, we all breathe in the same sky, our bones are made of the same Earth. This is what connects us all. Once we remember to cherish and honor our mother and her flowing waters, we will remember who we are.

Krishna Guadalupe - While accomplishing a number of professional achievements - BA, MSW, PhD., author of several books, national and international workshop facilitator, CMT, Kundalini Yoga Instructor, Oneness Blessing Giver (Deeksha), Krishna stresses that his most imperative transformation has been influenced by his commitment to purposefully live, learn, laugh, and love, His role as a father to three magnificent souls- Isaiah, Elijah, and Rhia - has fostered a journey into the heart of Remembrance. Four principles can briefly describe his teaching approach: attention and intention, gratitude and forgiveness, reflection and action.

Sukhbir Kaur - My intention for 2018 is WE. We can heal. We can integrate more fully towards love and acceptance rather than create separation. We can listen. We can speak. We can utilize the fire of the times to create healthy boundaries and activate change without fear and within our power.
I grew up on the Monterey Peninsula and moved to the Sacramento area in 1993 in hopes of becoming the next female sports broadcaster. I went to Sac State and shortly after took on a job with the Sacramento Kings. It was through my work there (8 years) I realized that as much as I love sports, there was something missing. It wasn't connecting me to my soul's purpose.
So the search continued... Montessori Teacher Training, Kundalini Teacher Training, Trekking Nepal, Backpacking Europe, owning a yoga studio, Co-producing the California Spirit Festival, and now owning and operating a restaurant.

Each one of these moments has played an integral role in who I am as a human. I have realized that I put myself in positions of leadership and community so I have to show up.  I have to be faced with challenges outside of myself so that I do not become so ME-centered.   My intention for 2018 is WE.

Terre Cerridwyn Busse -  I am a teacher, an artist, a mother of teenagers and a woman who fell in love with a river (ask me about the South Fork of the Yuba).  I paint, I dance, I make up stories. Sometimes I do them all at the same time and truth be told, my best work is when I am doing them all at the same time.

I paint with intention.  I believe that painting can heal and move stuck hurts and energy out of our body.  I lead workshops and work one on one with people using paint, canvas, story, intention, ritual, and laughter to create layered pieces of beauty and healing.
