An Afternoon of speakers, artists, poets, musicians, conversation, and food!

                                            Host  Jg Gonsalves

Pauline Haynes -  is a Life Coach. She  brings to the table a wide range of life experiences including: successfully parenting two children, who are in turn living their purpose-filled, successful and happy lives, navigating the daily challenges of living in three different countries, being a part owner in a manufacturing company, a massage therapist, a radio talk show host, a personal chef, an event planner, a leader of women’s workshops and retreats, a cultural awareness trainer/facilitator, and an art curator and promoter.  She also delights in officiating sacred marriage ceremonies.
It is precisely because of Pauline’s intuitive nature, and her “out of the damn box” way of thinking that gives her the edge when working with clients.  She has an uncanny ability to help you identify what truly inspires you and helps you focus your life around those things that bring you joy, purpose, and satisfaction. Clients who are attracted to her are ready to intentionally move from self-limiting beliefs, behaviors, and decisions to create the shift necessary for their magnificent unfoldment.  The words that sum up Pauline’s philosophy of life is Shift Happens! Do or Do Not. There is no try. Pauline is happy, fulfilled, pursuing her purpose, and lives in Sacramento CA.    paulinehaynes.net

Charmaine McCowan -  Charmaine McCowan's passion and celebration of the diversity among world people began at the age of 16 during her travels while attending the international high school and musical show “Up With People”.   Living in private homes, palatial mansions, college dorms, and on Indian reservations, she immersed herself in a cross-cultural exchange to help bridge unity among people from every stratum of life.   She is a transformational speaker, author and best described as a passionate facilitator of well being.

All roads lead to the heart.  The question is, Can we awaken our soul without a heart?  The connection between heart and soul leads to the transformational awakening of both. But where does the soul awakening begin?  It’s all about connection.

Charmaine has created 54 wisdom cards and a guidebook.  Humani~Tea Speaks (A Guide to Inner Wisdom), connects you to the indestructible essence of your being and aligns you with your passion and purpose. Sprinkled throughout the 54 wisdom cards are keys that reveal your own inner secrets of knowing.  From the first card to the 54th card your soul is fed. The wisdom cards transform your heart.

Raven Tahara - is a Symbolist who works in several mediums. A Sacramento native, she has worked for over twenty years as a graphic designer, using her intuitive gift to perceive people and organizations symbolically to create their brands. In 2013, while living on Maui, she began creating “SoulPrints” for individuals using a marker and chalk pastel. Within several years she had created over 250 of these unique expressions of her artistic perception of a person’s essence. Each work of art is accompanied by a symbolic interpretation. She is often honored and amazed at the accuracy of these insights and the emotional response her clients have had to her work, many of them tearing up as they read their symbolic interpretations. “Art is about risk and connection,” she says. “I never know what I will see when I look at a person’s energy, but it is always unique and always beautiful.”

Richard Turner  - "I was a lawyer for over 40 years. Now I'm a poet, an author and a nature photographer. I live with my soul mate and spiritual partner, Prem Turner. I'm very happy. The birds and flowers I photograph and write about don't call me disgusting names."

Richard Turner is a graduate of Stanford University and the University of California, Boalt Hall School of Law. He practiced law for over 40 years, serving as a Deputy Attorney General in the California Department of Justice, as personal counsel to Ronald Reagan, Governor of California.

Mr. Turner is also an award-winning photographer. Twelve images of his work in nature are currently on permanent exhibit at the new Mercy San Juan Hospital Tower in Sacramento.  Just recently he placed 57 images in the new expansion of Fremont-Rideout Hospital in Marysville. Working with his wife Prem they were  also commissioned by Methodist Hospital to design the space and place flower images in the ICU and surgical suite waiting areas.

A collaboration of his nature photography and his poetry, I Can’t Always See My Path…But I Keep On Walking, was released to critical acclaim. Dr. Wayne Dyer, of Public Television renown and New York Times best selling author wrote, “the words and images touched me at my soul, called me to my own awakening as well.”  Mr. Turner was invited to share his book and speak at the Parliament of World Religions in Salt Lake City in October 2015.
